The roof pitch designates the "fall" of the roof. For example, the standard 2/12 roof pitch means that the roof will slope down 2 inches for each 12 inches of roof. All MD Barns are constructed with a standard 2/12 roof pitch.
You may option your roof to a higher pitch if desired. As the numbers go higher, so does the peak of your barn. See drawings below for examples of how the roof will change with steeper pitches. Contact your sales consultant for a detailed drawing of the barn of your dreams!
